Wealth of new Poker Night media

Poker Night 2 is now available to purchase from the App Store for $4.99. The game is only compatible on devices including and above the iPad 2 and iPhone 4.

You know when you’re waiting for a trailer and then three turn up at once?

A third trailer for Poker Night 2 has been released. There’s nothing particularly new on show, but Skun’kape makes a cameo at the beginning. Each character is introduced in turn, with Sam pairing up with his little buddy. Max will be lurking around in the background and will insert remarks during the game every now and then.

Poker Night 2 is releasing today on XBLA, with other platforms to follow. You can watch the trailer below.

After reporting yesterday that the Steam release date for Poker Night 2 was being pushed back, Telltale have confirmed all platform releases on their Twitter page. They also said that the game will be releasing on iOS and to expect more details soon. Until then, here are the release dates:

Various snippets of new Poker Night 2 information have popped up. Firstly, the Telltale Twitter revealed that you will be able to order drinks for the other players in the game in order to get them drunk and see their tells.

Secondly, two new screenshots have been released showing GLaDOS and Ash talking and the whole table midway through a game. These can be seen embedded below or on the game page.

Thirdly, a list of achievements can be seen over here. Those are for the Xbox 360, but presumably they’ll be the same on every platform.

And finally, the Steam release date for the game is now listed as the 26th of April (instead of the 23rd). No official word on PSN or Xbox.

Poker Night 2 is now up for pre-order on Steam. It will be released on the 23rd of April (that’s two weeks time!) and costs £3.99/$4.99.

Pre-ordering will also give you a copy of the first Poker Night game featuring Max. If you already have it then you can gift it to a friend.

Three screenshots for the upcoming Poker Night at the Inventory 2 have been leaked. I’m not totally sure where these have leaked from (having discovered them reuploaded elsewhere), but it looks like they were originally on Microsoft’s Xbox servers under a database listing for the game.

Although the game has not been formally announced, it has been assumed that the current Key Party promotional website was leading up to it being unveiled.

As you can see from the screenshots below, the game is indeed another poker party. Our beloved Sam joins a cast of characters such as Claptrap (from the Borderlands games), Brock (from Adult Swim cartoon Venture Brothers) and GLaDOS (from the Portal games).

Keep your eyes on the site for further details like platform (although assume PC and Xbox for now, at least) and release date.

Telltale recently advertised a website on their Twitter page: The Key Party. Originally just an empty bowl, the image has now been updated to feature Sam’s keys to the DeSoto.

The Key Party is assumed to the rumoured Poker Night follow-up, as reported previously. You’ll note that the left sidebar on the site is in the same graphical style as the Poker Night in-game menus.

Whether or not this will be another card game is yet to be seen. More guests are arriving daily, so keep your eyes on the site for any updates.
