Beyond Time and Space now available on PSN
Oct 21st
This news post is a couple of days late, but it’s still worth reporting that Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space (season two) is now available on Sony’s downloadable service, PSN.
I think it’s just available for the US at the moment; I’m not too sure (that’s we in the biz call journalism, folks). Grab the five episodes for $19.99 or bundle it with The Devil’s Playhouse for $29.99. Further details can be found on the PS Blog.
Thanks to Mojo for the tip.
Season two coming to the iPad
Aug 16th
The details are a bit scarce at the moment, but according to a report from Gamespot’s GDC Europe coverage, Telltale Games are bringing season two (Beyond Time and Space) to Apple’s iPad platform, localised for different regions of the world. Telltale claim the iPad is the fastest-growing gaming device on the market. It’s worth noting that only the first episode of season three was released on the tablet device, though.
Of course, those looking for dog and rabbit fun without having to remortgage their house can find it at Telltale’s site for $29.99 on the PC. Just saying.

This past Sunday saw Steve Purcell attend Comic-Con 2011, as he does every year. Telltale have been putting up daily video highlights and embedded below is ‘day five‘, showing Steve signing and chatting (along with Jake Rodkin being creepy, but let’s pretend that never happened).

Earlier this year in February I alerted you all to a Sam & Max fan art contest that was being held by a group of Telltale fans on their deviantART page, with lots of great prizes up for grabs.
After a brief hiatus, that contest is now in the voting stages – a tricky one since all of the entries are great. Head on over to their blog post to see how you can place your vote. Good luck to all!

I can see you hiding at the back. Yes, you! You haven’t got any/all (delete as appropriate) of Telltale’s Sam & Max games, do you? For shame! Luckily for you, online distribution platform Steam have slashed all Sam & Max games by 66%.
You can either get the whole collection or each individual season. But hurry, this cheap-as-chips deal only lasts until Thursday at 4PM Pacific Time.
Telltale talk to Andrew Chaikin
Apr 23rd
Us Sam & Max fans will know Andrew Chaikin, who also goes by the name of Kid Beyond, as the voice of characters such as the Narrator and Papierwaite in The Devil’s Playhouse and Tycho in Poker Night. Alan Johnson, Telltale’s community manager, recently conducted a video interview with the multi-talented Mr. Chaikin to discuss his voice work.

Holy cripes on toast!
